Which type of care do I need?
1. I’m not feeling well and I need some advice:
- Stay home and call Healthline on 0800 611 116 for free advice from a Registered Nurse (if English isn’t your first language, there are interpreters who can help)
- For mental health support, text or call 1737 for free at any time
2. I’m not feeling well and I need to see someone urgently:
- Call your General Practice for a telephone/video appointment if in the day time, or
- Call Healthline on 0800 611 116 for free advice from a Registered Nurse about where you can be seen urgently, and/or
- Go to your nearest After Hours Medical Centre
3. I’m not feeling well and it's an emergency:
- If it’s an emergency go to the Emergency Department or call 111 for an ambulance if the situation is life-threatening
