Healthcare Choices
You have a choice about the type of appointment to have with your doctor or nurse. You can always visit in person for your appointment but next time you book ask about video or phone consultations – they’re very convenient!
We’ve found most patients enjoy having a choice and that many health issues can be managed very well through video or phone consultations. Having a virtual consultation will save you travel time and waiting in the clinic once you get there, plus you can still see and/or talk with your doctor or nurse. Nowadays you don’t have to leave home to be able to see your doctor.
In-Person Consults
An in-person consultation is a traditional consultation when you go into your practice to see your health practitioner for your appointment. You can make your appointment by phoning your practice or using a Patient Portal.

Virtual Consults
Virtual consultations are often referred to as telehealth. This is a way of engaging with your practice team without having to go into the practice.

Patient Portal
A Patient Portal is a safe, secure and convenient way for you to connect with your practice online. Patient Portals offer secure online features so you can view your records and book appointments to manage your own healthcare.
