Karolyn Kerr

Having begun her career as a nurse, training in New Zealand and the UK and specialised in Coronary Care nursing and research, Karolyn then studied Health Informatics. After completing a Masters in telehealth, Karolyn twice worked at the Ministry of Health in the digital health team. Here she completed a PhD in data quality, developing a national strategy for data quality for the health sector. Karolyn is a previous Chair of Health Informatics New Zealand and is the current Vice President and New Zealand representative on the Council of the Australasian College of Health Informatics and a Fellow of the organisation. Having a position on the Board of Accuro Health Insurance and membership with the Institute of Directors, Karolyn is well versed in organisational governance, strategic planning and business risk assessment.
